An individual is considered “fully vaccinated” two weeks after receipt of the second dose of a two-dose vaccine (e.g., Pfizer, Moderna) or two weeks after receipt of a one-dose vaccine (e.g., Johnson & Johnson). Share Our Strength is seeking a Director of Development to grow major gift fundraising and unleash the tremendous growth potential in the New England market. The Director will have the opportunity to supervise a small regional team and work strategically and collaboratively with organizational leadership, including Founder and CEO Billy Shore, national board members, and high-level volunteers. As part of a national cohort of Directors of Development, this hire will have the opportunity to share best practices with peers from across the Share Our Strength network. At Share our Strength, we value an individual’s diversity of backgrounds, experiences, ideas and perspectives.

Kids in the United States today face real challenges, as families and communities work to recover from effects of the coronavirus pandemic. As a child hunger organization, ending childhood hunger is our primary focus, though Share Our Strength continues to invest in and develop other campaigns. But the job isn’t done, and won’t be done until we’ve met that promise and every single child in America has the food they need to grow up healthy and strong. COVID-19 vaccinations are generally available free of charge, regardless of whether an individual has health insurance or not.

No Kid Hungry is the only national campaign committed to ending childhood hunger in the U.S. We know what works, and we’ve made extraordinary progress for kids and families.
